The French ministry of Defence studies switching to free software, it replied this Tuesday to a question from France's parliamentarian Isabelle Attard. "Given the technical and functional impacts of a migration, such studies take place on the occasion of a major development of a software application, rationalization of a collection of software, or when renewing a licence contract."
